WITHDRAWAL OF YOUR CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH THE COMPETENT SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

In case of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged violation. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY

You have the right to receive, in a commonly used, machine-readable format, data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, and to have this data transmitted to yourself or to a third party. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another data controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

SSL/TLS ENCRYPTION

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries, that you send to us as the site operator. If there is an obligation to provide us with your payment data (e.g., account number for direct debit) after concluding a paid contract, this data is required for payment processing.

Payment transactions using common payment methods (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are carried out exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

In the case of encrypted communication, your payment data, which you transmit to us, cannot be read by third parties.

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of data processing, and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. •          If the processing of your personal data happened/is happening unlawfully, you can demand the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

•          If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defense, or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.

•          If you have filed an objection according to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be made between your interests and ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests outweigh the others, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

•          If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

DATA COLLECTION ON OUR WEBSITE COOKIES

The websites partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies that are necessary for the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions you desire (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your browsing behavior) are stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

SERVER LOG FILES

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

•          Browser type and browser version
•          Operating system used
•          Referrer URL
•          Hostname of the accessing computer
•          Time of the server request
•          IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.

INQUIRY BY EMAIL, TELEPHONE, OR TELEFAX

If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us.

The data sent to us by you via contact requests will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – especially statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

REGISTRATION ON THIS WEBSITE

You can register on our website to use additional features on the site. The data entered for this purpose will only be used for the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.

For important changes, such as the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we use the email address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time. An informal email notification to us is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on our website and will subsequently be deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

PROCESSING OF DATA (CUSTOMER AND CONTRACT DATA)

We collect, process, and use personal data only to the extent necessary for the establishment, content design, or change of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract. We collect, process, and use personal data on the use of our website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user.

The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

DATA TRANSMISSION UPON CONTRACT CLOSING FOR ONLINE SHOPS, RETAILERS, AND SHIPMENT OF GOODS

We transmit personal data to third parties only if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example, to the companies entrusted with the delivery of the goods or the credit institution entrusted with the payment processing. Further transmission of the data does not take place or only if you have expressly consented to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

Partially, the recipients of your personal data may be service providers commissioned by us, who, in the course of order processing, provide us with support services, especially in the areas of shipping, payment, and IT services. We will only pass on your personal data to these service providers to the extent necessary for the purpose of order processing.

We transfer your personal customer and contract data to our independent business partners to the extent necessary to fulfill the contract concluded with you.

For the purpose of delivering your ordered goods, we pass on your personal order data to our logistics partner Logsta GmbH, In den Wiesen 4, 2544 Leobersdorf, Austria, as well as to shipping companies (e.g., DPD, GLS, Post.at, DHL).

ANALYSIS TOOLS AND ADVERTISING GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies." These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

BROWSER PLUGIN

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

ORDER DATA PROCESSING

We have concluded a contract with Google for order data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

DEMOGRAPHIC FEATURES WITH GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender, and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as shown in the section "Objection to data collection."

GOOGLE ANALYTICS REMARKETING

Our websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This function enables the target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked to the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-related, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you based on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g., tablet or PC).

If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browser history to your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on any device you sign in to with your Google account.

To support this function, Google Analytics collects google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising.

You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google account; follow this link for this purpose: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

The merging of the collected data in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give to Google or revoke (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). In the case of data collection processes that are not merged into your Google account (e.g., because you do not have a Google account or have objected to the merging), the collection of data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.

Further information and the data protection provisions can be found in Google's data protection declaration at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en.

NEWSLETTER/NEWSLETTER DATA

If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we need your email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No additional data or only on a voluntary basis is collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example through the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers and ActiveCampaign servers after unsubscribing from the newsletter. Data stored for other purposes with us (e.g., email addresses for the members' area) remains unaffected.

ACTIVECAMPAIGN

This website uses the services of ActiveCampaign for sending newsletters. The provider is ActiveCampaign, LLC, 150 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 1230, Chicago, IL 60601, USA.

Your data (email address, possibly name, IP address, date, and time of your registration) stored during the newsletter registration will be transferred to a server of ActiveCampaign, LLC in the USA.

With the help of ActiveCampaign, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with ActiveCampaign, a file contained in the email (so-called web beacon) connects to ActiveCampaign's servers in the USA. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links may have been clicked. Technical information is also collected (e.g., time of access, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of recipients.

If you do not want an analysis by ActiveCampaign, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers and ActiveCampaign servers after unsubscribing from the newsletter. Data stored for other purposes with us (e.g., email addresses for the members' area) remains unaffected.

For more information, please refer to the ActiveCampaign privacy policy: https://www.activecampaign.com/privacy-policy/

PLUGINS AND TOOLS YOUTUBE WITH ENHANCED PRIVACY

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube website. The site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

We use YouTube in extended privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store information about visitors to this site before they watch the video. However, the extended privacy mode does not necessarily exclude data transfer to YouTube partners. Regardless of whether you watch a video, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This informs the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly assign your browsing behavior to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube may store various cookies on your device after starting a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent attempted fraud. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.

Additional data processing operations may be triggered after starting a YouTube video, over which we have no influence.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Vimeo also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have an account with Vimeo. The information collected by Vimeo is transferred to the Vimeo server in the USA.

If you are logged into your Vimeo account, you allow Vimeo to directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer.

GOOGLE RECAPTCHA

We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data input on our websites (e.g., in a contact form) is done by a human or an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, duration of the website visitor's stay on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and spam.
